The shirt. It’s long-sleeved and covered in sharp, angular shapes in deep crimson and black. You can see a herringbone texture in the fabric in the close-up. The Three Stripes run down both sleeves in a yellow-gold that matches the badges, and the cuffs are black and ribbed.

Collar. A raised mock neck in black replaces a standard collar, with a small gold Trefoil at the front of the throat.

Badges. The range leaves out the club crest. The Red Devil stands on its own, embroidered in metallic gold, and the Trefoil sits with it on most pieces. We can’t see a sponsor on any item in the pictures.

The rest of the range. Footy Headlines lists an oversized T-shirt in deep red, its collar patterned, a heather grey hoodie with red embroidery, and a full-zip jacket with matching track pants. The jacket and pants use a tonal black and anthracite version of the pattern, finished with the gold badges.

How It Compares

It’s a long way from the matchday look. The 26-27 home shirt is all red with white sleeve stripes and a striped half-collar that looks back to the 1970s, as covered in our 26-27 kits guide.

The closest relative is Arsenal’s Bruised Banana lifestyle shirt, which leaked a day earlier. Both are long-sleeved Adidas Originals pieces with a Trefoil, but Arsenal’s leans on one famous old kit while United’s mixes retro Originals styling with modern graphics.
