Wikipedia’s season page records four permanent senior signings and one loan. The numbers below come from the club’s page and match Wikipedia’s squad table.

• Mario Gila, defender from Lazio: No. 34.
• Sankhoun Diawara, defender from Troyes: No. 13.
• Diego Moreira, midfielder from Strasbourg: No. 22.
• Omari Hutchinson, on loan from Nottingham Forest with an option to buy: No. 20.

Six more players came back from loans or a buy-back and hold numbers this season: Francesco Camarda (73, from Lecce), Alphadjo Cisse (70, from Catanzaro), Yunus Musah (80, from Atalanta), Samuel Chukwueze (21, from Fulham), Christian Comotto (28, from Spezia) and Filippo Terracciano (42, from Cremonese). Warren Bondo also returned from Cremonese. Wikipedia lists him as under contract but without a number, and he is not on the club’s page.

Wikipedia’s scoring table, updated on 31 October, has him top of Milan’s chart with seven goals in all competitions, ahead of Adrien Rabiot on five, all in Serie A, and Moreira on four.

Who left Milan and which numbers are free?

Santiago Giménez (7) joined Porto on loan with an obligation to buy. Christopher Nkunku (18) went to RB Leipzig and Samuele Ricci (4) to Como, both on loan with an option. Youssouf Fofana (19) is on loan at Sevilla, Zachary Athekame (24) at Lyon and David Odogu (27) at Toulouse.
