Monaco 26/27 Third Kit Design Breakdown

Badges and sponsor. The Monaco crest and the Mizuno Runbird both appear in dark navy, and navy is used for the accents throughout. apm MONACO takes the front sponsor position. The restraint is what makes it work: one loud element on the body, everything else monochrome.

This third shirt goes the other way. Where the home kit is architectural and precise, the mint shirt is fluid and a little strange, and it is the more commercial of the two. It is also worth saying what the shirt avoids. Wavy graphics of this kind usually end up printed across the sleeves as well, which is what pushes a kit from bold to costume. Keeping the sleeves flat mint is the decision that makes the rest of it work.
