Leaked: Atletico Madrid 27-28 Kits, First Violet Third

The Leak

Footy Headlines has now pulled the whole Atlético Madrid 2027-28 set into one report. A Footy Headlines roundup, published on 24 October 2026, collects earlier stories on the home kit (6 September), the away kit (4 October) and the third kit (7 September).

The report gives colours, not full designs. Collar and full graphic details have not been reported.

The image is a colour graphic, not a photo of a finished shirt. It shows four panels. The home panel has red and white stripes, a blue Swoosh and the club crest, with swatches for University Red, white and Signal Blue. The away panel shows Linen, Racer Pink and Seal Brown swatches beside a dark crest. The third panel shows Pitch Blue, Daybreak and Atomic Violet swatches with a purple crest.

Home kit

The report says the home shirt keeps the traditional red and white vertical stripes. The front shows three wide red bands and four white ones.

The red is University Red, which is Nike’s colour name for the shade. It is the same red as the 2026-27 home shirt. See our Atlético Madrid 2026-27 home kit leak.

The accent is Signal Blue. The report expects it on the Swoosh, and perhaps on trims or small graphics. Blue or navy has appeared on every Atlético home shirt of the last 15 seasons except 2021-22.

Third kit

The base is Pitch Blue. Despite the name, it is an ink-like blue that can look almost black. Nike’s colour names for the two accents are Daybreak, a muted lilac, and Atomic Violet, a vivid purple.

The report says those two shades are for the crest, the Swoosh, the sponsor applications and possible trims. That would make it the first Atlético kit with purple or violet accents.

An earlier leak pointed to turquoise. Footy Headlines corrected that on 7 September.

Dark change kits are not new for the club. The away shirts of 2016-17, 2019-20, 2022-23 and 2026-27 were all dark. The violet is what sets this one apart.

Away kit
