Bologna 26-27 Third Kit Released: Gold Dall’Ara Centenary
Bologna and Macron released the 26-27 third kit on 15 October 2026, according to Footy Headlines. The shirt is gold with rossoblù accents and marks 100 years of the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara, with an embossed crest, motto and Torre di Maratona pattern. 433FC does not stock it.

What Has Bologna Released?
Bologna have launched their third kit for 2026-27, made by Macron. The Footy Headlines report is dated 15 October 2026 and says the shirt can be bought from that date. Italian outlet TuttoMercatoWeb covered the launch the same day and framed it as a tribute to the stadium’s 100 years.
That is the headline: it is out, it is gold, and it is about the ground. The report does not mention a shirt sponsor, so we will not guess at one. It also gives no price and no debut match, and we have not filled those gaps.
If you followed the build-up, this is the end of a short story. We first covered the September database leak of the Bologna and Udinese third kits. Then came the shop-window photo from 14 October. A day later, the real images arrived.
What Does the Gold Third Kit Celebrate?
The shirt marks the centenary of the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara, which opened in 1927 under the name Littoriale. Both the Footy Headlines report and the Italian coverage point to the stadium as the theme. The home kit, released in May 2026, shares that idea through the Torre di Maratona, so the two shirts now work as a pair.
A centenary shirt could easily have been a plain badge job. Bologna and Macron went a different way, and the stadium itself is woven into the fabric. That is a fair bit more interesting than a new colour and a sponsor logo.
How Is the Shirt Designed?
Colours and trim
The base is gold, with rossoblù accents running through the details. The crew-neck collar and cuffs are dark blue, and the side inserts are blue too. A thin red trim sits on the collar and cuffs, and subtle red piping follows the side inserts. The Macron logo is navy and sits on the right chest.
Shorts and socks are gold as well, so the full kit reads as one block of colour. That is a bolder look than a lot of Serie A third kits manage this season.
Patterns drawn from the stadium
This is where the design earns its place. A tone-on-tone embossed pattern covers the front and sleeves. It repeats the club crest, the “WE ARE ONE” motto and the outline of the Torre di Maratona. You will only catch it in the right light, which suits a shirt about a building.
The cuffs carry a tonal arch pattern taken from the portico on Via De Coubertin, outside the ground. A small Torre di Maratona silhouette sits below the back collar. It is a lovely finishing touch, and few people will spot it unless they look.
No full crest on the chest
There is no full crest on the front. On the left chest sits a retro navy “BFC 1909” wordmark instead. Dropping the crest is a deliberate, throwback choice, and it leaves the embossed pattern free to do the talking.
How Does the Release Compare With the Leaks?
The leaks and the release agree on the broad idea but not on everything. The September database entry and the 14 October shop-window photo already showed the main features: the “BFC 1909” wordmark in place of the crest, navy collar and cuffs with red trim, and a faint tonal pattern. The leak coverage read the shirt as a lifestyle piece, while the release ties it to the stadium centenary. The shop-window photo also looked sand or beige, and the release images show gold. Lighting may explain the gap, though we cannot be certain.
| Feature | Leaks (Sept database, 14 Oct photo) | Release (15 Oct) |
|---|---|---|
| Base colour | Sand or beige in the shop-window photo | Gold |
| Chest badge | Retro navy “BFC 1909” wordmark, no full crest | No full crest, retro navy “BFC 1909” wordmark on the left |
| Collar and cuffs | Dark navy crew neck and cuffs, red edging | Dark blue crew neck and cuffs, thin red trim |
| Pattern | Faint tonal pattern on torso and sleeves | Embossed crest, “WE ARE ONE” and Torre di Maratona, tonal arches on cuffs |
| Theme | Reported as a lifestyle-led third kit | 100 years of the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara |
Where does it sit among its rivals? Bologna’s third kit was number nine in our October 2026 kits power ranking, and you can see how it fits the wider Italian picture in our guide to the best Serie A 2026-27 third kits.
Can You Buy the Bologna Third Kit From 433FC?
No. 433FC does not stock the 26-27 Bologna third kit, and we would rather say so plainly than let you search for it. 433FC is an independent retailer of replica supporter shirts, not affiliated with any club, league or manufacturer. Nothing here suggests that any shirt we sell is the one in the release images.
We do sell other Bologna replicas. For this season, there is the men’s Bologna 2026-27 home jersey, which shares the centenary theme, and the men’s Bologna 2026-27 away jersey. Last season’s design is also there, as the men’s Bologna 2025-26 third jersey.
