October has been a busy month for kit news, with club reveals, shop-window sightings and the odd on-pitch debut all landing within a couple of weeks. This is our best football kits October 2026 power ranking: ten shirts from the past fortnight or so, judged on design, story and how they look when worn, with every entry labelled as released, revealed, leaked or spotted on pitch. It is a snapshot as of 18 October 2026, so expect it to move.

How did we rank the best football kits of October 2026?

We asked whether each shirt has a clear idea, whether that idea comes from the club’s own history or place rather than a template, and whether it holds together once sponsor and logos are on. The status label matters: a released shirt is settled, while a leaked or spotted one is reported detail that could still change. We are an independent retailer of replica supporter shirts, not affiliated with any club, league or manufacturer, and we do not stock any of these exact ten. 1. Napoli European third – EA7

Status: released (2 October 2026). Napoli’s centenary year has produced a second third shirt, and it is the month’s best idea. The base is dark navy, almost black, with gold on the logo, crest and MSC sponsor. A tone-on-tone print of the Corsiero del Sole, the Steed of the Sun from the club’s first emblem in 1926, only shows up in the right light. A “ceNto” logo sits inside the collar and “Partenopei” runs across the back of the neck. We do not stock the navy shirt, but we do sell the red Napoli 2026/27 third jersey. 2. Fenerbahçe sponsorless third kit – adidas

Status: spotted (in-store photos reported on 17 October). With the sponsor gone, the cup graphics around the commemorative 1907-2027 crest run across the chest without interruption. The dark navy shirt is inspired by the 1923 General Harington Cup win, and it carries Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’s signature on the back collar. It has reportedly appeared at select international retailers for around £85. We do not stock this edition, but the Fenerbahçe 2026/27 third jersey is the closest replica. 3. Al-Ahli third kit – adidas

Status: released (on sale from 12 October). A pale sky-blue base carries a soft, marbled graphic drawn from the Jeddah coastline and the Red Sea. Green trim on the collar, cuffs and shoulder stripes pulls it back to the club’s identity, and a custom crest sits on the upper back. It completes a set with the green home and off-white away. 4. Barcelona Golf Wang home kit – Spotify x Tyler, The Creator

Status: revealed (15 October 2026). The blaugrana stripes stay put and a bold GOLF wordmark replaces the usual chest logo. It is the ninth artist edition in the Spotify partnership. Barcelona are due to wear it at home to Real Madrid on Sunday 25 October. We do not stock the edition, but the base design is our Barcelona 2026/27 home jersey. 5. Yokohama F. Marinos TIMELESS special kit – adidas

Status: revealed (reported 9 October 2026). Dark navy with tonal pinstripes that appear only when the light catches them, royal blue piping on the polo collar and cuffs, and a tidy chest stack of the adidas logo over five stars and an anchor crest. No price or on-sale date has been stated. We do not stock it, but the Marinos 2026/27 home jersey is available. Read Yokohama special kit revealed.

6. PSG third goalkeeper kit – Jordan

Status: leaked. A long-sleeved shirt in bright red, with black stripes that taper upwards from the hem and sleeve streaks in purple, blue and black with yellow accents. It is said to pay tribute to Bernard Lama’s 1997-98 Nike template. It reportedly comes in at least three colourways, and release is expected in the coming weeks. 7. Chelsea third goalkeeper kit – Nike

Status: spotted on pitch (17 October 2026). Emiliano Martínez wore it away at Everton, in a yellow shirt covered in black graphics across the shoulders and sleeves that echo early-2010s Nike keeper designs. It is not on sale and may never be. 8. Como 1907 third kit – adidas

Status: leaked (image reported on 9 October). Black, with wavy dark grey and charcoal bands said to reflect Lake Como and a micro-dot texture inside the graphic. White logos, including the Revolut sponsor, keep it calm. No release date has been reported, and an adidas exit is rumoured but unconfirmed. We do not stock the 26-27 third; the closest match is the Como 2025/26 third jersey. Read Como third kit leaked.

9. Bologna third kit – Macron

Status: leaked (first real photo on 14 October). A sand base with a faint tonal pattern, red raglan piping and navy collar and cuffs. A retro “BFC 1909” wordmark replaces the crest, a lifestyle-led departure from Bologna’s usual red and blue. Launch is expected in the coming days. 10. Mali home and away kits – WA Team Sport

Status: revealed (reported 7 October 2026). These are the first Mali kits from WA Team Sport, which replaces Airness under a four-year federation deal announced in July. The cream home carries a tonal pattern inspired by Malian textiles, while the bright yellow away turns it into a central chest stripe. They are reported on sale from October, with no price given. River Plate’s personalised Messi tribute shirt is a presentation piece, not for sale. Newcastle’s Shearer capsule leak is lifestyle wear, not a match shirt. For next season, the PSG 27-28 away leak covers only a reported palette, and the Aston Villa 27-28 away and third leaks look back to the late 1990s and early 2000s.
