Footy Headlines published details of the Celtic 2027-28 home kit on 30 October 2026, a day after its third-kit report for the same season. The details are in their Celtic 27-28 home kit report.

The main news is the collar. If the report is right, this will be the first Celtic home shirt with a polo collar since 2019-20, and the first ever made by Adidas, which took over from New Balance in 2020.

Collar

A polo collar is the headline change. The two earlier polo-collar home shirts, 2016-17 and 2019-20, came from New Balance, so this would be new ground for Adidas at the club. The exact shape of the collar, and whether it has a button placket, is not yet known.

Colourway and hoops

The base is listed as White, with Team Green for the hoops. The hoops are the standard Celtic look and run across the body. Any tonal pattern or sleeve detail is still unknown.

Crest and sponsor

The report expects the Adidas logo and the club crest to share the same contrasting colour, and the graphic draws both in green. The current home shirt uses gold for both, so this is one detail to watch. The sponsor is not named in the home report, but the separate third-kit leak lists Dafabet, the sponsor on the current range.

How It Compares

The 2026-27 home shirt has a round crew neck, a gold Adidas logo, a gold crest and Dafabet in gold. It also carries a special crest for the 60th anniversary of the 1967 European Cup win. Swapping the crew neck for a polo collar would make 2027-28 look closer to the club’s older shirts.

The away kit is reported as off-white with Better Scarlet and Team Dark Green, and the third kit as black with Blanch Brown. The home shirt is the most traditional of the three.

When Can You Buy It?

Footy Headlines expects the home shirt to launch in early summer 2027. Neither Celtic nor Adidas has confirmed the design or a date, as far as we know.
