Arsenal Player Version Shirts: Fit, Fabric & Sizing
Arsenal player version shirts are the slim, match-cut version of the club’s adidas kit. adidas replaced HEAT.RDY with Climacool+ on its authentic tier in November 2025, weaving the Three Stripes into the cloth. 433FC’s replica player-version Arsenal shirts are $44.99 and stocked S to XXL, against $37.99 fan.
Arsenal’s 2026/27 home shirt is made by adidas, whose partnership with the club began in 2019 and has been extended to 2030. It was released on 15 May 2026, and it marks the twentieth anniversary of Emirates Stadium — the first Arsenal home shirt in those twenty years to take the building itself as its design source.
The shirt uses two shades of red: standard Arsenal red across the body, with a darker burgundy on the collar, the sleeve cuffs and, unusually, the middle stripe of the adidas Three Stripes. A wavy zig-zag pattern runs through the shirt, drawn from the stadium’s architecture, and the collar design directly references its rooflines. The sleeves are white and raglan-cut, meeting the collar diagonally rather than at a shoulder seam. White shorts and red socks with white trim complete it. Emirates fronts the shirt, and there is a change on the sleeve for 2026/27: Deel replaces Visit Rwanda, whose eight-season partnership ended by mutual agreement after 2025/26. Any 2026/27 Arsenal shirt still showing Visit Rwanda is either last season’s or a fake.
On fabric, adidas retired HEAT.RDY and AEROREADY in November 2025. The authentic, player-issue tier is now Climacool+ and the replica tier Climacool, with the Three Stripes woven into the fabric rather than applied over it. Arsenal’s own launch copy cites Climacool+ and lightweight engineered fabrics for airflow at high intensity.

What is the difference between the Arsenal player version and fan version?
The player version is cut slim through the chest and waist with a shorter hem, a lighter engineered fabric and heat-pressed branding; the fan version is relaxed, true to size and heavier, with a stitched or printed crest. adidas splits these as Climacool+ and Climacool. Ours are $44.99 and $37.99.

How does the Arsenal player version fit?
It fits close and short, with white raglan sleeves that cut diagonally from the collar rather than sitting on a shoulder seam. Raglan sleeves feel tighter across the upper arm than set-in sleeves at the same size, so if you have broad shoulders or want any slack, order one size up.
What sizes are available in Arsenal player version shirts?
Our Arsenal player-version range runs S, M, L, XL and XXL only, including the 2026/27 home shirt. Arsenal is one of the few clubs where we cannot offer 3XL or 4XL in the player version. If you need a larger size, the fan-version Arsenal range does go up to 4XL.
Why this is the shirt Arsenal fans actually want
Context matters here more than for most clubs on this site. Arsenal won the 2025/26 Premier League with 85 points, 26 wins and a goal difference of plus 44, finishing seven clear of Manchester City — their first league title since 2003/04. They were also Champions League runners-up, losing the final at the Puskas Arena in Budapest on 30 May 2026, 1-1 after extra time and 4-3 on penalties to Paris Saint-Germain. This home shirt is reported to have been brought forward specifically so the squad could wear it in that final. It is, in other words, the champions’ shirt and a European Cup final shirt at the same time, which is why demand has stayed high well past the usual launch spike.

Bukayo Saka at 7 and captain Martin Odegaard at 8 remain the two biggest sellers, with Viktor Gyokeres at 14 close behind after his first season. Declan Rice wears 41, William Saliba 2, Gabriel Magalhaes 6, Eberechi Eze 10, Gabriel Martinelli 11, Kai Havertz 29 and David Raya 1. Three summer 2026 arrivals have confirmed numbers already: Christos Tzolis at 17 from Club Brugge, Illan Meslier at 30 on a free from Leeds United, and Piero Hincapie at 5, made permanent from Bayer Leverkusen after his loan. Leandro Trossard has left for Besiktas, so that print is now an archive one.
Is the Arsenal player version worth it?
It is worth it if you want the champions’ shirt in its lighter, closer-fitting form, or you play in it. If you need 3XL or 4XL, or you want the zig-zag design purely for everyday wear, the fan version is the practical choice at $37.99 and in a much wider size run.
Caring for a raglan-sleeve shirt
The white raglan sleeves are the practical weak point of this shirt. A raglan seam runs diagonally from collar to underarm, taking load across a longer line than a set-in shoulder seam, so pulling the shirt on by the sleeves stresses it. Take it off over the head rather than dragging it by the cuffs. White sleeves against a red body also means washing cold and separately for the first few cycles, and the burgundy middle stripe is heat-pressed, so keep the iron off it. See our shirt care guide.
