The 2026/27 home shirt was released on 20 May 2026 under the campaign line “Not Your Typical City”. It runs a vertical gradient, darker sky blue across the shoulders fading toward white through the body and hem — Puma’s stated concept is that it represents every shade of blue City have worn across their 140-year history, plus the white kits of the early twentieth century. The crest and sponsor branding are rendered in metallic monochrome, the crew-neck collar is white, the sleeve cuffs carry a repeated “CITY” wording, and the inner collar reads “NOT YOUR TYPICAL CITY”. Etihad Airways fronts the shirt.
