July, August and September are when third kits arrive. The third slot is held back until late in the summer, so releases trickle in over several months. Each kit in the ranked table below has been officially unveiled by the club and put on sale, with a verifiable availability date. This page is our rolling home for third-kit coverage through September and October — we update it as more shirts are confirmed and stocked.
Which 2026-27 third kits have actually been released?
Five, as of 2 August 2026. Four are Adidas and one is Macron. The table shows what each club has confirmed and when it went on sale. This ranked table reflects the original 2 August 2026 snapshot; dated updates below cover what has happened since.
| Rank | Club | Maker | Base colour | On sale from |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Olympique Lyonnais | Adidas | Black | 28 July 2026 |
| 2 | Celtic | Adidas | Cream | 18 June 2026 |
| 3 | Inter Miami | Adidas | Off-white | 30 July 2026 |
| 4 | Flamengo | Adidas | Red | 31 July 2026 |
| 5 | Stoke City | Macron | Sky blue | 1 August 2026 |
1. Olympique Lyonnais 2026-27 third
Adidas built this one around Lyon’s standing as a centre of French funk music. The base is black, lifted by turquoise, pink, orange and light blue, with graphics Adidas trace to spinning records and the flowing lines of the genre. The crest and Adidas logo are embroidered in pastel segments outlined in black, the Three Stripes run wavy across the shoulders, and an “Olympique Lyonnais” graphic sits inside the collar. Black shorts and socks finish it. It takes the most risk of the five, and the risk pays off. Browse our Lyon shirts, though the 2026-27 third is not in stock yet.
2. Celtic 2026-27 third
A cream shirt referencing the tiled mosaic at the entrance of the Estádio Nacional in Lisbon. Celtic say the interlocking circles and woven texture across the body are taken from that mosaic, and the kit marks 60 years since the Lisbon Lions’ 1967 European Cup win. On sale since 18 June, it is the longest-standing release here. Placing second is a close call, and Celtic supporters will reasonably put it first. See our Celtic range, which does not yet include the 2026-27 third.
3. Inter Miami 2026 “Cenit” third
Off-white with pink, turquoise and black accents, released 30 July. The tonal geometric pattern across the front comes from the canopy structure of the club’s new stadium. Tricolour detailing runs through the ribbed collar, cuffs, Three Stripes and crest, the retro Adidas Trefoil sits on the right chest, and the Royal Caribbean sponsor is printed in pink. The Trefoil is the detail that lifts it. Browse our Inter Miami shirts; the 2026 “Cenit” third is not stocked yet.
4. Flamengo 2026-27 third
Adidas released this red shirt on 31 July, and its headline detail is structural: the club’s rowing crest takes the place of the usual badge. Changing the crest is a bolder move than any graphic, and the shirt around it stays restrained. We covered it in full in our Flamengo third kit report, and as of 2 September 2026 it is in stock — see the Mens Flamengo 2026/27 Third Jersey ($43.99) or browse the wider Flamengo range.
5. Stoke City 2026-27 third
Macron went sky blue, with a tonal geometric pattern engineered into the fabric itself. Broken diagonals run over the chest, down the sleeves and across the top of the back. Deep blue trims the crew neck and cuffs with narrow sky-blue piping, the crest is monochrome, and the club motto “VIS UNITA FORTIOR” is printed beneath the rear collar. The shirt uses 100 per cent post-consumer recycled polyester. It is the quietest kit here, and the most technical on paper. Our Stoke City shirts are here; the 2026-27 third is not among them yet.
What links this year’s third kits?
Three of the five tie their design to a physical thing the club owns. Celtic use the mosaic at the ground where they won the European Cup, Inter Miami use their new stadium’s canopy, and Flamengo use the rowing crest from their founding. Lyon look to the city itself. Each shirt therefore has something concrete to explain. Adidas account for four of the five, which reflects the order clubs chose to launch in.
Which 2026-27 third kits are still to come?
Update, 3 August 2026: two more went on sale after this ranking was published. Arsenal released a pale yellow third with navy lightning bolt graphics, covered in our Arsenal 26-27 third kit released report, and Benfica released a black shirt with a pink and red spray-paint graphic, covered in our Benfica 26-27 third kit released report. Both will be placed in the ranked table at the next revision. Still leaked and not released: Real Madrid’s dark pink Adidas third and Aston Villa’s Villa Park swirl design, in our Real Madrid coverage and our Aston Villa coverage, plus Sunderland’s third with a tonal circular pattern. We will rank each one once it is on sale.
Update, 2 September 2026: 433FC’s own third-kit shelf grew sharply this week. Flamengo and Benfica (both confirmed released, above) are now in stock, and we’ve added first-time third-kit listings for Borussia Dortmund, Napoli, Real Betis, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City. Of these, Chelsea’s design follows the shirt spotted for sale in our July report, while Borussia Dortmund’s listing still follows the neon-purple design covered in our leak report and has not had an official club reveal — treat it, along with the Napoli, Real Betis, Liverpool and Manchester City listings, as pre-release designs that may change before each club’s official unveiling. See the full shopping list below for links and prices. This page will keep tracking third-kit drops through September and October.

Frequently asked questions
How many 2026-27 third kits have been officially released?
Seven confirmed as of 3 August 2026: Lyon, Celtic, Inter Miami, Flamengo, Stoke City, Arsenal and Benfica. More have followed since, including Brighton (6 August) and Manchester United (31 August). 433FC’s own third-kit range has grown further still — see the shopping list above for everything currently in stock, which includes both confirmed releases and pre-release designs still awaiting an official club reveal.
Why do third kits arrive later than home and away shirts?
Clubs stagger their launches so each shirt gets its own sales window. Home shirts come first, away shirts follow, and the third kit is held back to late July or August, close to the start of the season.
When does the Arsenal 2026-27 third kit go on sale?
It went on sale on Monday 3 August 2026, the reported date. Full detail is in our Arsenal 26-27 third kit released report.
Is the Lyon third kit black?
Yes. The base is black, with turquoise, pink, orange and light blue accents inspired by vinyl records, and wavy Three Stripes across the shoulders. Black shorts and socks complete the kit.
