What has actually been confirmed about the transfer?

The move itself is done. Inter announced Stones on 29 July 2026, with the transfer registered on 30 July, and the England defender has signed a deal running to 30 June 2028. He arrived on a free after his Manchester City contract expired, ending a nine-year spell in which he won six Premier League titles and the 2023 Champions League.
