Roma’s centenary season is filling in piece by piece. A new Footy Headlines report gives the first colour details for the 2027-28 third kit: a white base with dark green trim, designed to honour Alba-Audace.

This follows the outlet’s earlier report that adidas will build the whole 2027-28 range around Roma’s founding, which we covered in our post on the founding-clubs concept. The new piece says each strip will nod to one of the founding sides, and that the third kit is Alba-Audace’s.

The final design has not been shown, and neither Roma nor adidas has confirmed anything. What is known is the colour pairing, the tribute and the crest choice.

Design Breakdown

Colourway. White with dark green is a sharp departure from Roma’s usual red, orange and yellow. That is the point: the shirt belongs to a club that existed before Roma did, so it uses a different palette.

Crest. The report is clear that the modern Roma badge stays on the chest. The Alba-Audace emblem is not being brought back, so the tribute comes through the colours and styling instead.

Collar, cuffs and graphic. These are still unknown, and the report says nothing yet about any centenary badge or wording on the shirt.

The history. Roma was formed on 7 June 1927 when Alba-Audace, Fortitudo-Pro Roma and Foot Ball Club di Roma merged, giving the capital a club big enough to take on the north. The 2027-28 season marks 100 years since then.
