Serie A clubs have been unusually brave with their third shirts this season: a red Napoli homage, a black Milan kit that reacts to UV light, a beige Atalanta shirt built around a Bergamo sundial. Napoli's red EA7 third shirt, a 1986/87 homage with the crest and maker's logo swapped, is the best Serie A third kit of 2026/27 so far. Milan's UV-reactive black Puma shirt and Juventus's flame-pattern adidas kit follow. Ten shirts are ranked below, all released by their clubs. 1. Napoli: EA7, red with sky blue trim

Released 4 August 2026. The shirt borrows from the 1986/87 kit and deliberately inverts convention, with the crest on the right chest and the EA7 logo on the left. Sky blue and white edge the collar and cuffs, and a centenary logo sits inside the neck. It is the only third kit on this list that makes you look twice at the badge. 2. AC Milan: Puma, black with fluorescent red

Released 7 August 2026. Black base, fluorescent red details and a UV-reactive finish, so the shirt changes character under different light. The club calls the concept “Rossoneri in a new light”. Shorts and socks come in charcoal grey. See the Milan range (player version $51.99).

3. Juventus: adidas, black with gold flames

Released 7 August 2026. A black shirt with gold and grey detail and a flame pattern rising from the hem, a reference to the Latin iuventus, meaning youth. 4. Inter Milan: Nike, Iron Ore grey

Launched 14 September 2026 and worn that evening against Udinese. A stone-grey “Iron Ore” base with tonal jacquard, a broad black chest band edged in Blue Spark, and Speed Yellow on the Swoosh and crest. The design nods to the 1990s. 5. AS Roma: adidas, black with embossed foliage

Released 8 September 2026. Predominantly black, with an embossed foliage pattern across the upper body, yellow adidas and club logos, and a black, yellow and red tricolour trim on the cuffs. The club frames it around faith and solidarity. Roma shirts are here (fan version $43.99).

6. Lazio: Mizuno, navy and gold

Released 2 July 2026 alongside the home kit, making it the earliest shirt on the list. Navy base, gold on the crest and sleeve accents, and a tonal geometric pattern taken from Roman mosaics. Safe, but well made. Lazio range (fan version $43.99, kids $39.99).

7. Atalanta: New Balance, “Toasted Sesame” beige

Released 25 September 2026. Warm beige with black and Taffy Blue trim, plus a jacquard pattern inspired by the sundial on Bergamo’s Palazzo della Ragione. 8. Sassuolo: Puma, “Electro Royal” blue

Published 23 September 2026. A bold blue with thin white pinstripes echoing the crest, marking more than two decades with sponsor MAPEI. It breaks with the club’s green and black. We stock older Sassuolo shirts in the Sassuolo category; the new third has not landed yet.

9. Cremonese: Acerbis, navy pinstripe

10. Udinese: Macron, off-white with black panels

Unveiled in late September 2026 during Milan Fashion Week, according to reports. A cream base with curved black side panels evoking mid-2000s shapes, made with designer Giuseppe Buccinnà for the club’s 130th anniversary.
